The property was owned by S. Brown, not sure of the date. Next owner was Arthur Wellington Horner. He bought the house from the widow of S. Brown. He bought it in 1898. He sold to Mr. Claude Smith in 1919. Mr. Smith was a Party Boat Captain many a fishing-party stood on his boat the "Edna Rae" and caught their share of fish. Mrs. Claude Smith sold the property in 1962.
