Mouse Factory (since demolished)

There once was a building at the corner of Lakeside Drive and West Main known as the "Mouse Factory". It first was a barn, then a sewing factory. It made uniforms during World War I. After the war it made dresses and other apparel. It was later used as an antique shop. The Ocean County Parks Commission now owns the property and the barn-like structure has long ago been removed.
