The parents of John Throckmorton (b. 1773) being James Throckmorton (1726-1782) and Rosina Van Note [name spelling corrected] (1747-1782) (married 02 Jan 1767) in Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, seems settled in online trees, but a search for more records continues. There is documentation for a John Throckmorton as the son of James Throckmorton and Rosina Van Note, shown here, 1 which supports the lineage, but there is a possibility it is a different John Throckmorton at the same place. The Throckmortons were quite prolific in Monmouth County (and elsewhere). More supporting records connecting father and specific son are being sought.

The parents of James Throckmorton(1726-1782) are John Throckmorton Esq(1688-1741) and Mary Sarah Stillwell(1690-1739).
