Today's RHB post is just a prelude to an upcoming post on a Little Egg Harbor Gateway Ancestor to Royalty and Nobility. I have accumulated credible published evidence that a person in LEH has numerous royal and noble ancestors. I am working on presenting it in quite detail, including a navigable on-line tree, showing the explicit connections, with links to their on-line biographies, and with the major source references that make the lines credible. Blood descendants of this person can credibly claim royal ancestors, and yes, I descend from this person. Spoiler alert: Edward I, Henry III, King John (Lackland), Henry II, Matilda, Henry I, Matilda of Flanders, William the Conqueror, Louis IV, Henry I (the Fowler), Alfred the Great, Charlemagne, Rollo (a Viking), and I am sure many more.
