Bob Buchanan, who was holding a mooring line as part of the ground crew when the Hindenburg burned on May 6, 1937, was one of the honorees at the 74th Anniversary of the airship disaster at the Lakehurst Naval Base, Lakehurst, N.J. The ceremony was held on May 6, 2011 at the airbase. Thanks to my friend, Pete Stemmer, who was a friend of Bob Buchanan, I got invited to go to the ceremony with Bob and Pete. These are photographs I took there.
