Amelia (Throckmorton) Allen is a New Jersey Gateway Ancestor (descended from royalty or nobility). Strictly speaking, Amelia's "immigrant" Gateway Ancestor is John Throckmorton (1601-1684).

Thomas J. Allen (1834-1915) married three times. 1) Anna Jones (1837-1861) who died young, 2) Amelia Throckmorton (1843-1877), and 3) after she died, he married her sister Jane (1846-1914).

Achsah (Leek) Sears (1773-1858) married 1) Josephus Sears (1767-1825) (Josephus is a Mayflower Gateway Ancestor, his first wife was Catherine Carter (1762-1811)) and 2) Chalkley Cramer (1773-1810).
